Barbeque grilles normally look pretty awful, what with the rusty housing, the soot, etc. For the most part, who cares? The heat kills any germs involved, and the food tastes great.
Well, in my opinion it'd be nice if one particular part of
the
barbeque grille looked nice, and that's the metal grate that the food
sits directly on. It's usually made of steel wire, and it usually
looks like hell. There are an array of products available to
clean it, including wire brushes and metal scrapers, but none will make
it look good for the simple reason that it's made of steel which rusts
and gets all black and pitted.
This particular item should be made of stainless steel,
which would
be easy to clean and get shiny before each barbeque. I doubt if
it's possible to make any sort of one-size-fits-all product here, but
somebody should at least start producing replacement grates to fit the
most popular barbeque grilles.
