FISHIN' BUDDY CHARTERS
About Your Boat

The FISHIN' BUDDY is a new 23 foot custom backcountry skiff that Capt. Buddy helped to design.  Built by Tremblay Marine out of Chiefland Florida, the boat features an extrordinarily shallow draft (7-8 inches with 2 anglers).   The tunnel hull design, in combination with a jackplate (device that vertically raises the entire engine on the transom) allows access to some very shallow bonefish and redfish flats.

Other features include GPS, (satellite navigation unit for Gulf wreck fishing) SONAR (fishfinder), multiple live wells, ample dry storage for personal items, comfortable seating with backrest, and an optional bimini top (for those hot summer days).

The boat is powered by a reliable 1998 150 HP oil and fuel injected Mariner outboard.

Roomy and especially versatile, the boat was designed to work in a wide variety of fishing conditions, and provides a comfortable alternative to the confines of a typical backcountry skiff.
